Happy 29th Feb y’all. And here’s why ladies should never utilise this oh-so-special day live on national telly.
Poor sod. Not to stereotype or owt, but who’s betting our Mario isn’t ’settling’ with cuddly Emma (who cooks and cleans for him) for a few years til he finds himself a hotter model? I was soooo wishing [...]

Was appalled to hear the announcement of The Breakfast Club remake until I read this:
“The comedy drama focuses on five twenty-somethings who become stranded at Chicago’s O’Hare Airport when their flight is bumped.”
Ssssoooooo… not a remake at all then. More a film inspired by, right? More a let’s-link-this-piece-of-
shit-film-to-something-that-was-
great-and-credible-and-
popular kinda film, am I getting close?
And yes, [...]

On the one hand: lovely, shiny new, untouched Ashes to Ashes (episode 4, no less) sitting in its review case in front of me; on the other, Torchwood just recorded off t’telly. And what do I choose? Yup, like some weak-minded idiot, I gave Torchwood yet another chance. I can’t believe it. I feel sick [...]

Over a week since my last post. Apologies. I’d list the usual excuses: I’ve been uber busy at work, couldn’t be arsed… But frankly, there’s been bugger all to write about. Yes, I could have mocked Eastenders (yet again) for taking an already-written character from Hollyoaks and plonking her in Walford (surely the Oaks peeps [...]

Question: Have you seen Cloverfield yet?
If YES, go to Section A.
If NO, go to Section B.
Section A.
Sixth Sense, Fight Club, Um… The Village… I’m quite chuffed that I managed to avoid all the spoilers and plot twists attached to these movies. But in this day of forum hopping, blog splurging and Facebook meandering, you put [...]

“You’re taller than I expected”
“I’m bigger in every department.”
Quick low-down on last night’s Ashes to Ashes launch. In a nutshell – not at all bad. Much better than I was worrying about. Obviously it’s no LoM, but it has its own charms. Namely Gene Hunt and Alex Drake, who have a fantastic, complex, sizzling relationship, [...]

One of my favourite childhood memories was sitting down to watch Grange Hill with my brother. Our mum didn’t really approve and as we sat watching the comic strip credits, we knew we were being naughty. I remember the days of Tucker Jenkins, Ro-land (for that is how any self-respecting Hill fan pronounces his name), [...]

It’s not often I admit I’m wrong. So… *fanfare please* I was wrong. About Primeval. And I’m sorry.
After catching me watching an ep or two of the new season, Mr Badger downloaded the first series and we’ve spent the last week churning through it. He liked Abby’s knickers, I like Stephen’s… Well… Stephen basically. Yes, [...]
